These are videos I edited for SOAI VLOGS, a Jamaican YouTuber who covers travel and food. I worked as editor across the set, turning raw footage from each shoot into finished videos ready to publish. Every cut kept pace with the trip on screen, from the travel days to the meals, so each video stayed sharp and easy to watch start to finish.
The collaboration between SOAI VLOGS and Wode Maya, a Ghanaian YouTuber, filmed across Africa for a joint travel series. The footage brought two different shooting styles together, so the edit had to blend them into one consistent voice rather than favoring either creator's usual pace. Scenes moved between cities and countries, and the cuts held that momentum while giving each location room to breathe on screen.
I also worked on more of his content, including an outdoor cooking video and a street food trip abroad. I kept the cuts close to the moment, letting the setting and the pace of each trip carry the video instead of leaning on editing tricks.
